Virtual Classroom Training Survey

An Investigation into Virtual Classroom Instructor Training 

Teaching in a synchronous virtual classroom poses a host of unique challenges for the face-to-face instructor. However, while the literature contains hundreds of articles discussing how best to prepare instructors for the transition to online learning, very few focus on the specific challenges offered by synchronous learning environments. Even fewer investigate the extent, nature and effectiveness of training received by instructors who use synchronous virtual classrooms. This is the focus of the proposed study.
